
A full US enrich eCommerce and warehouse deployment which utilises live sales tax calculations, address look-up, and payment gateways to specifically targets the AllSaints brand within the American market.
Ambition
When AllSaints planned to extend its brand into the US, they asked us to deploy a version of the website that could be managed by their US team as soon as stock was available within their new US distribution centre. Of course, we did that, and also ensured that all the business processes, sales tax, payment gateways and courier integrations were in place to support the them. To help the site launch we also provided a full online marketing plan. Over the next few months the site will grow further to include multilingual variations, enhanced mobile and kiosk functionality.
Action
It was important that the deployment of the US online store was as close to the UK operation as possible in order to minimise the operational differences and maintain consistent reporting across the sites.
To ensure success, drivebusiness dedicated a full development team to the project, who worked closely with AllSaints and a number of key 3rd party service providers; Cybersource, 192, Sabrix, TMS and UPS.
AllSaints US customers are benefiting from Geo-IP location lookup, realtime US sales tax calculations, local address look-up and live order tracking.
Regionalised sales tax information is being provided by Sabrix through a bespoke API developed by drivebusiness, to ensure that all store categories are mapped to the correct local tax band.
Dedicated hosting for the project was provided from within our data centre and the powerful Enrich eCommerce platform is managing the eCommerce process, including; website merchandising, kiosk feeds, affiliates feeds, warehouse pick and pack processes and customer contact centre.
drivebusiness supports the site with weekly mailers, extended functionality upgrades, multi lingual support and the continuous development of the customer journey.
Impact
The site launched in October 2009 and has seen continuos growth week on week with the initial investment on target to retune in the first three months. Month on month growth has shown a 70% increase in transactions with a 60% increase in number of products purchased.
