
Following successful store trials, AllSaints roll out new multilingual kiosks and updated interfaces to a range of its national and international stores.
Ambition
Following the successful trials of a bespoke kiosk prototype at Jack’s Place and the Metro Centre, AllSaints wanted to improve the touch screen interaction and roll out new kiosks to a range of its national and international stores.
The updated kiosk interface will allow AllSaints to extend the range of clothing and accessories available to their in-store customers by making the full online retail catalogue available, including the full AllSaints Vintage Collection. This would allow each store to maximise its sales by enabling the immediate purchase of garments in alternate sizes and colours to those in stock.
The new kiosks would need to be delivered inline with AllSaints rapid store roll out programme and include multi-lingual options for their international stores.
Action
The drivebusiness digital development team worked alongside AllSaints to revitalise the kiosk interface and streamline the purchasing process for its customers.
Working with AllSaints store designers the bespoke kiosks were supplied with high resolution touch screens, swipe card readers and stand alone keyboards.
A new interface design was deployed throughout the kiosk to reflect the contemporary nature of the brand and online experience. The designs ensured that the purchasing cycle, account and checkout pages were all streamlined to work within a single page view, making it easy for the customer.
The kiosks are centrally managed from the Enrich ecommerce platform. Staff are able to merchandise and manage content in real time and customers benefit from live stock feeds, ensuring that the products that they find are available to purchase.
Impact
AllSaints are among the first fashion retailers to provide their high street customers with access to their full online product range. Multilingual kiosks were deployed across a range of UK and international stores including LA, Berlin and Paris in time for new store launches and the Christmas trading period.
The project was delivered to high standards on tight deadlines in order to meet each stores deployment date.
