
Can a brand that believes in ritual relaxation be unashamedly sales oriented? That's the genius of our upgraded Abahna site. The mood is as calming and well-ordered as a tea ceremony, yet every page leads inexorably to the checkout.
Ambition
Abahna turns the everyday experience of bathing into a luxurious ritual of rejuvenation. For Abahna customers, bathing is time out – an opportunity to cleanse the mind as well as the body.
Abahna sells its blends of pure essential oils and botanical extracts through independent retailers from Japan to Iceland – and direct from its own website. To increase online traffic and revenues, they turned to drivebusiness. They asked us for a fresh and exciting online look and better sales performance.
Action
We started afresh, and gave Abahna a clean new site in which the products take centre stage. The mood is relaxed and sensual with subdued bathtime colours and a hint of the oriental.
Behind that calm face, the Abahna site is pure speed and agility. It integrates with Sage Pay and with the Abahna warehouse via daily stock feeds. There are international deliveries, European VAT rates, postage-by-weight calculations, gift certificates, and plenty of inspired gift ideas.
Merchandising and service are fast and efficient too. We shot all product photographs in our in-house studio, while our customer service team take orders by phone and answer queries.
To build traffic, we send out weekly mailers, run PPC and affiliate marketing campaigns, and continually tweak for search-engine success.
